Lost or Damaged Materials
This happens to all of us from time to time, even librarians! Yes, sometimes the dog really does eat the library book! If a library item is lost or damaged beyond repair:
- The library account to which the item was checked out will be charged the original purchase price of the item.
- The library patron may choose to pay the replacement cost or to purchase a copy of the item that was lost or damaged for the library.
- If you pay for a lost book and then find it, we will refund your payment.
